Gondwana Rainforest

UNESCO World Heritage Listed "Gondwana Rainforest" (the world's largest tropical rainforest protected area) is among the three remnants of the ancient continental Gondwana forest that has existed for 3 billion years. This region in Australia is comprised of three types of rainforest: tropical rainforest, temperate rainforest, cool temperate rainforest zones. The rich bio-diversity in this area includes the 2000 year old Antarctic beech and more than 200 kinds of birds.
